FIGURE SKATING
AISC Faciliates the sport of Figure Skating in our community.
As an affiliated club to the New Zealand Ice Figure Skating Association (NZIFSA) AISC operate in accordance with NZIFSA rules and regulations.
NZIFSA was founded in 1937, and is the official governing body of ice figure skating in New Zealand. NZIFSA is affiliated to the International Skating Union (ISU) which governs the sport of Figure Skating internationally including at the Olympics.
Figure Skating incorporates many different styles and disciplines: singles, pairs and synchronised skating, spins and jumps, dance and interpretive skating. Whatever your goals competitive or non-competitive figure skating AISC are here to administer the sport of figure skating in Central Otago and help our skaters achieve their goals by providing classes and programs to suit.
